What I do

From a squeaky door to a new kitchen.

Kitchens, laundries and bathrooms need a licensed plumber and electrician for the wet and live work. I coordinate those trades and handle everything else, so you've still only got one person to ring.

What locals say

Ask the neighbours.

Real jobs, real people, mostly within a few streets of each other.

We had an old box air conditioner sitting in the wall for years and I had no idea who to call about it. Ned pulled it out, patched the plasterboard and repainted the wall — you honestly can't tell there was ever a hole there. He quoted the job up front and that's exactly what I paid. Tidy worker, easy to deal with.

Ned knocked over a few jobs in one visit — repaired and repainted a door that had never shut properly, swapped the lock over, and fixed up some furniture while he was here. Turned up when he said he would, no fuss, and cleaned up after himself. Good to finally get it all done in one go.

How it works

Three steps, no runaround.

01

Send a photo

Snap the job on your phone and send it through the form. Takes about a minute.

02

Get a fixed price

I'll text back the same day with a real number and a time I'll be there — an actual time, not a four-hour window.

03

I turn up and fix it

On time, tools in the van, mess cleaned up. You pay the price we agreed — not a cent more.

Pricing

Every job priced on its own.

I don't run an hourly rate or a day rate. A sticking door isn't the same job in a 1960s weatherboard as it is in a new build, and charging by the clock only rewards the bloke who works slowly.

So you get one number for your job, worked out from your photos, before I pick up a tool.

What's in the number

  • Getting there — no separate callout fee
  • The labour, however long it actually takes me
  • Consumables: screws, filler, silicone, sandpaper
  • Drop sheets down and the mess taken away

What you'll never see

  • An hourly rate ticking over while I work
  • Weekend or after-hours loading
  • Travel charges inside my area
  • A bigger invoice than the quote you agreed to

Materials are passed on at cost, with the receipt, and they're listed separately in the quote so you can see exactly what they are. If you'd rather buy your own, that's fine too. And if I open something up and find a genuine surprise, I stop and ring you before anything changes — the number never moves without you saying yes.

Landlords & property managers

One number for the whole punch list.

Between tenants is when everything shows up at once. Send me the condition report and I'll work through it.

Where I work

South-West Sydney, mostly.

Based in Ingleburn, working across South-West Sydney. A bit outside the list? Ask anyway — I'm often nearby.

My promise

Not right? I come back and fix it.

If something I've done isn't up to scratch, ring me and I'll return and sort it out. No argument, no second invoice. That's the whole guarantee — it doesn't need small print.

Questions

The ones I get asked most.

Can you do a whole kitchen or bathroom?

Kitchens and laundries, yes — strip-out, cabinetry, benchtops and install, with the cabinetry built in my own workshop. Bathrooms I do the demolition and strip-out and hand a clean space to the waterproofer and tiler. Either way the plumbing and electrical go to licensed trades that I coordinate, so you're still only ringing one person.

Do you do plumbing or electrical?

No — those are licensed trades in NSW and I won't touch them. If your job turns out to need a licensed sparky or plumber, I'll tell you straight away and point you to someone good rather than have a crack at it.

What's your hourly rate?

I don't have one. Every job gets quoted on its own off your photos, so you know the whole cost before I start rather than watching a clock. It also means you're not paying for me to be slow.

Is the quote really fixed?

Yes. Once I've seen the photos and we've agreed a price, that's the price. If I open something up and find a genuine surprise, I stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the number.

How small is too small?

Nothing's too small. Plenty of jobs are one squeaky door. If it's a five-minute fix while I'm already there for something else, I'm not going to charge you for it.

Do I need to buy the materials?

Only if you want something specific. Otherwise I'll pick up what's needed and pass on the receipt at cost.

Are you insured?

Public liability, and I'll send the certificate of currency before I start if you'd like to see it. Agents and strata managers usually want it on file — just ask.

How soon can you come?

Usually within a few days, sometimes same week for small jobs. Urgent things like a door that won't lock get pushed to the front.
