How I approach it

If you're managing your own bathroom renovation, the strip-out is the messiest and least skilled part and it's worth handing over. I take it back to whatever the next trade needs — usually frame or screed — remove the waste rather than leaving it in your driveway, and leave the space swept and ready. Doing it carefully matters: rushed demolition damages things that were meant to stay and adds cost to the trade that follows.
