How I approach it

A kitchen is several trades in sequence, and the carpentry is the part I do: removing the old kitchen, making good, cabinetry, and installing and levelling everything so doors sit true and benchtops land flat. Plumbing and electrical are licensed work and I don't touch them — I coordinate licensed trades for those, which keeps the certificates in order and means the sequencing doesn't fall to you.
