Door seals, weather strips and gap filling — the cheapest thing you can do to a cold house, and the one nobody gets around to.
Three things and you're done. A photo tells me more than three paragraphs.

Text me the photo Call 0404 77 55 55A gap under an external door the width of a pencil is the same as leaving a window open all winter, and it costs a fraction of anything else you might do about the heating. The usual list is a front door with no seal left on it, a laundry door that's never had one, perished weather strip on the sliding door, and gaps where the floor meets the skirting in an older house. It's an hour or two of work and you notice it that night. I'll also point out the ones not worth sealing — a bathroom or laundry needs its air, and blocking the wrong vent causes damp rather than curing it.
