The wardrobe that won't go up the stairs in one piece — taken apart, moved, and rebuilt square at the other end.
Three things and you're done. A photo tells me more than three paragraphs.

Taking it apart properly — labelling the panels, keeping the cam locks together, replacing the dowels that always split — is the difference between rebuilding it and buying a new one. I also do the reverse at the other end, and put right the things that were forced during a move: a bed frame with a stripped fitting, a table leg that's gone loose, a wardrobe rebuilt out of square so the doors won't sit. Handy the week before a move and the week after.
