A rail into tile and plasterboard alone will pull out under exactly the load it exists for, which is worse than no rail at all because it's trusted. I find structure, use fixings rated for the load, and test it properly before I leave. If it can't be fixed safely where you want it, I'll say so and suggest where it can.
